simple on purpose

From a request to a filled bowl.

Bowl keeps the loop short: people show the need, the community chooses the path, and the treasury pays for the thing. Every finished buy ends with public proof.

FAQ

Is this a charity?

Bowl is a community project that uses treasury funds to buy real items for animals. It is not a registered nonprofit and not financial advice.

Why buy the thing instead of sending cash?

Cash can wander. A bag of kibble, a surgery invoice, or a crate is harder to misuse — and the receipt is public.

Does submitting a request guarantee funding?

No. The community reviews asks. Only approved items get bought, and only when the treasury can cover them.

Do I need shares to submit or vote?

No. Anyone can submit a request or take part in the browser-based community vote.

Where do receipts go?

On this site, next to the team-recorded payment reference. Batch one is still open — the first receipt lands here when the first buy is done.

Is Bowl affiliated with Best Friends or HSUS?

No. Those are vote options for where funds might go. Bowl is independent and not endorsed by them.

Is Bowl affiliated with Robinhood?

No. Robinhood is the brokerage used for the team-managed account. Bowl is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
